im trying to come up wit ha game for gimkit. heres what it is. tell me if you'd update the name or anything like that if u were me.

The game is called 'GATES'
Players are stuck in a large spacestation. they move through several room in the space station, where a key console and a red barrier awaits players i neach room. some key consoles dont require keys to ope nthe red barrier and get through, but other's do. players encounter angry plants and othe experiments-gone-wrong as they try to escape the spaceship. they answer questions to gain energy, which is required to be able to move.

The experiments gone wrong are actually 'sentry ' devices, whic hare idle, but use a type of weapon to blast at players. Sentries can be given any appearance of any existing gim (character) in the gimkit universe. soem might be FOCUS (a large creepy eye-themed experiment-gone-worng) or THE EXPERIMENT (an experiment-gone-wrong shaped like a jar, with green liquid inside that has a brain submerged in it) and perhaps ANGRY ROBOTs.

Certain events would give players some benefits, such as boosts in speed, or a sudden health restoration, etc.

The lore could be incorportated to where players come across old-schoo lcomputers, and read messages that are left on-screen from people who used to live and conduct experiments on this station.

give me ideas on what 'logs' i should put into the lore. give me a few texts i can input into the game and such.

if you reference specific locatios in your texts, tell me where to locate them in-game./
also, dont mentio nany specific names in your 'texts' but rather the jobs of the people, such as 'The Research Crew' or 'The Technician' or 'The Captian'

your texts should start appearing normal, but as players get furhter in the ship the logs get more spooky, until they finally show cases of absoulte horror. Include a log players can access in the lobby.
if there are locations in the texts yo ureference, where are these locatiosn located? Give me a ide aof the order of the places in the space station.
do not reference the word 'gates' in your logs. GATES is just the name of the game, thats all.

I love the concept of your game, "GATES"! The combination of an escape room-style gameplay with a sci-fi horror theme is both engaging and fun. Here’s an idea for the layout of the space station along with a series of log texts that evolve in tone and content as players progress.

Space Station Layout Order:
Lobby
Control Room
Research Lab
Botanical Gardens
Experimentation Chamber
Sentry Workshop
Cryogenic Storage
Engineering Bay
Abandoned Quarters
Captain's Bridge
Log Texts:
Lobby Log:
Log 001: “Welcome to the Aurora Space Station! We, The Research Crew, are excited to begin our exploration of the uncharted territories beyond. Please familiarize yourself with the layout of the station and ensure that all safety protocols are followed. Remember to keep your consoles updated. Teamwork is vital!”

Control Room Log:
Log 002: “Today marks the first successful growth of our experimental flora. The plant specimens show promising signs of adaptation. However, there have been reports of unusual behavior. Please remain cautious and report any anomalies to The Technician.”

Research Lab Log:
Log 003: “The experiments have escalated. Some flora are emitting strange bioluminescent signals and show aggressive tendencies. The Research Crew has decided to monitor them closely. Any who enter should wear protective gear and be prepared for unexpected outcomes.”

Botanical Gardens Log:
Log 004: “The situation is deteriorating. I found one of our team members in a trance. They claimed to hear whispers from the plants. I will investigate the roots of these specimens tonight. Perhaps they are communicating? Whatever’s happening, it’s growing more unsettling.”

Experimentation Chamber Log:
Log 005: “Something horrible happened today. One of the experiments has escaped containment. I won’t disclose what it was, but it was like no form of life I’ve ever witnessed. I don’t know how much longer we have here.”

Sentry Workshop Log:
Log 006: “I’ve done something terrible. The upgrades to the sentries were meant to protect us. Instead, they have become more autonomous and aggressive. I’ve lost control. Anyone reading this, be on high alert! They don’t recognize teammates anymore.”

Cryogenic Storage Log:
Log 007: “The whispers have grown louder. I’ve just checked the cryogenic chamber and found it empty... The Captain must have made a grave mistake. The cryogenics were not meant for storage, but for... containment. I need to find everyone before it’s too late.”

Engineering Bay Log:
Log 008: “We are not alone. I heard something moving in the shadows while repairing the mainframe. I thought it was a teammate, but there’s no one around. I am sealing the entryway. I wish I hadn’t ignored the warnings. The sentries are active.”

Abandoned Quarters Log:
Log 009: “I fear for my life. I found remnants of The Research Crew scattered throughout the station. Their last logs paint a dark picture. How can I escape this nightmare? I must hide; I can hear them. They’re not human anymore...”

Captain’s Bridge Log:
Log 010: “This will be my last entry. We made a horrific discovery. The experiments weren't failures; they were a means to an end. I hope the recordings survive us. Flee this vessel while you still can. Trust no one. The plants... they know...”

ummm could you organise this, plan a chart. i dont want the rooms in order, but more like they are all connected by hallways, so players can travel from one room, down two hallways, to another? just an example.

Feel free to adapt and modify any of these logs or the layout as you see fit to enhance your game's overall experience!

add soem more locations and logs to complete the map? add at least two locations connected to the hallway between the engineering bay and the captains bridge, some new logs, etc.

To enhance the map and incorporate additional locations and logs, we can add two new rooms to the space station layout: Maintenance Shaft and Observation Deck. The Maintenance Shaft could serve as a suspenseful area where players must navigate through narrow, dimly lit pathways, while the Observation Deck offers a panoramic view of the deep space beyond—mingled with dread from what lies within.

Here’s an updated layout of the space station including new entries, as well as new logs reflecting increasing horror.

Observation Deck Log:

Log 012: "The stars... They seem different tonight. We often gathered here to observe the cosmos, but what we saw last week was terrifying. A shadow moved across the stars, colossal in size. Was it just a malfunction in the viewing screen? I desperately hope that's the only explanation."

Updated Log Order (by Location)

Additional Notes

The new locations of the Observation Deck and Maintenance Shaft are intended to heighten the horror within the game, serving as spaces filled with tension and mysterious occurrences. The players will experience gripping narratives that lead them deeper into a story that becomes increasingly dark, just as they navigate through the twisting hallways of the Aurora Space Station. Feel free to adjust or expand upon any of these ideas to fit your vision for the game!
