If someone said to you that...."doubt can be a bond as powerful and sustaining as certainty."....what would this mean to you???

This would mean that if a person has a real doubt about something, then that is as powerful as certainty. Compare agnostics and religious believers. Agnostics are as sure of their doubts about the existence of God as believers are certain that their views are correct.
