I have to design a procedure which allows me to calculate the applied rocket thrust force of a stomp rocket. The only materials I am allowed are stop watches, rulers, measuring tape, protractors and the stomp rocket. Basically it all has to be done mathimatically. I so far have found the height the rocket reached and the mass of the rocket. Help please! I do not understand what procedure I am supposed to do/how to calculate the force of the stomp rocket.

You can do this. Measure the opening which forces the rocket up (the nozzle). Calcuate the area of it.
Then weight the area of the platform the weight stands on. Since the pressure is the same throughout...
weight/areaplatform=forcelaunch/areanozzle
You can calculate the forceonlaunch this way.
