As the small, irritable birds began to mock the larger blue feathered bird, something unexpected happened; instead of shrinking away in disappointment, the blue bird puffed out his chest and replied, “You know, it’s actually quite nice up here in the sky.” With a newfound confidence, he flapped his wings and took off, leaving the smaller birds stunned and awestruck. The little birds, realizing they had underestimated the blue bird's abilities, felt a pang of regret for their unkindness. In that moment, they learned a valuable lesson about acceptance and inclusion; instead of pushing others away, they should embrace differences and celebrate unique strengths. As they watched their former target soar higher, they chirped in unison, “Maybe we should give flying a try too!”
