Common sense should tell you the answers to some of these.
a.
CH3CH2CH2CH2CH2CH2CH2CH2CH3
b. It boils at 151 C. Room temperature is about 25 C. What do you think?
c. Nonane is a hydrocarbon and non-polar. H2O is a polar solvent. What do you think? Note that you want to know if it is soluble. There is no such word as soluable.
d. Nonane has a density of 0.79 g/mL. Water has a density of 1.0 g/mL. What do you think.

This is to the response given by DrBob222. There is no reason to be rude. If someone is asking a question it is because they may not understand. I sincerely hope you are not an instructor and if you are I fear for the people you are attempting to teach. Learn sympathy and empathy man.
