                I have several problems where I have the answer, but I need to know how to work it out.  You guys are amazing. Any help would be appreciated.
Problem: A series of ocean waves, each 6.0 m from crest to crest and moving past an observer at a rate of 2.0 waves per sedcond, has what speed? Answer 12 m/s

    wave speed = (wavelength)*(frequency)
= 6.0 m * 2 sec^-1 = 12 m/s
    
= 6.0 m * 2 sec^-1 = 12 m/s
