Is that C2Cl4? I have not heard of dicarbon tetrachloride.
Total C = 2 x 12.01 = 24.02
Total mass C2Cl4 = (2*C + 4*Cl) = 165.83 but confirm that.
mass fraction C in C2Cl4 = 24.02/165.83 = ??
Then mass fraction x 356 = g C
Total C = 2 x 12.01 = 24.02
Total mass C2Cl4 = (2*C + 4*Cl) = 165.83 but confirm that.
mass fraction C in C2Cl4 = 24.02/165.83 = ??
Then mass fraction x 356 = g C

Neither answer is correct. You need to learn how to use your calculator.
356 x (24.02/165.83) = ??
356 x (24.02/165.83) = ??

yeah I kno that's not it but I did something different
365/165.83 = 2.20
c2=24.02
24.02x2.20= 52.84
365/165.83 = 2.20
c2=24.02
24.02x2.20= 52.84

and I meant that's what I got before you answered my question
sorry I should have been more clear
and for the equation you gave me I got 52.86 so its practically the same
24.02/165.83 = .1448471
.1448471 x 365 = 52.87

OK. I see the problem You are using 365 (the original problem) and I keyed in 356.
365 x (24.02/165.83) = 52.869 which I would round to 52.9 g.
