I need help with the following if that's ok?
Calculate the discriminant of the quadratic expression
2x 2 + 5x − 2.

I will assume you meant 2x^2 + 5x - 2 = 0

Discriminant = b^2 - 4ac
= 25 - 4(2)(-2)
= 41
