Find the equation of a line with slope m = -3 that passes through the point(5, -7)


A.y = -3x + 22
B.y = -3x - 22
C.y = -3x + 8
D.y = -3x -8

Use school boy logic.

Do they all have slope -3 - yes.

If it passes through the point (5,-7) and the slope is -3 the +c part must be positive and less than 15.

so answer is c
