I would say so. Reflexive and Transitive apply to verbs, but I have never heard them applied to math.
There is no symmetry in the equation.
A process (substitution) is not a property.
You seem to be taking a rather nontraditional course in math. I believe that is rather a shame, and that useful math skills may not be learned effectively... only a lot of "buzz" words. Good luck.
