The US foreign policy after World War 2 brought the US from isolation to being active in engagement in policing against the Soviet Union communism. The positive effects that came from new policies established NATO, the UN, and the CIA. The US became solidified as the number 1 superpower. A negative effect I see from the US with their foreign policies is we are an ocean away and the US contributes monetarily far more to helping keep communism free than other countries.
