Question

I like to think of what it would be like to be in their position during these events. In my opinion, Roosevelt did what he could to provide relief for those suffering the most during the Great Depression. With that being said, I think I would support Roosevelt's policies. He implemented the Fair Labor Standards Act which established a federal minimum wage, set a maximum work week of 40 hours, and prohibited child labor for those younger than 16. Roosevelt also provided a safety net for the most vulnerable citizens. He provided pension funds for the elderly, the unemployed, the disabled, and the young. So yes, I think I would have supported his policies.
