An elevator of mass M rises a distance H in time T and acquires potential energy PE. If it rises the same distance in half the time the increase in potential energy will be?

Potential energy change = (Mass)(g)(chanage in elevation).

The time it takes to change the elevation does not affect the P.E. change, but it does affect the power required.
