1 Do you love dinosaurs? Have you ever wanted to travel to the past and live among the dinosaurs? Well, until a time machine is built, people cannot really go back in time. However, there is a way people can experience and get a glimpse of the past. It's by visiting historically important sites. These sites are specially preserved so that when people visit them, they feel like they are witnessing an important part of history.
2 One such place lies in the heart of Texas and is known as the Dinosaur Valley State Park.

3 Dinosaur Valley State Park is located in Glen Rose, Texas. The park spreads over 1,500 acres and offers a lot of opportunities to be in Nature's arms. The scenic Paluxy River, a branch of the Brazos River, flows through the park. During the summer months, the Paluxy River stops flowing, leaving behind some pockets of water. This is the perfect time to explore the dinosaur tracks in the riverbed.

4 Years ago, a young boy named George Adams found huge, strange three-toed tracks near the river. Later, scientists concluded that the area had the tracks of two separate types of dinosaurs—theropods and sauropods. Theropods were a species of dinosaurs that had three-toed limbs, while sauropods were a species of dinosaurs that were herbivores and had very long necks, small heads, long tails, and four thick legs. These tracks can be seen and touched today!

5 If you are not interested in the dinosaur tracks, the park offers other activities, such as camping, hiking, mountain biking, swimming and fishing, and watching wildlife in its natural habitat.
