so your exact(without typo's) question is

Robert has a rectangular garden that is currently 195ft and has a perimeter of 56ft He wants to increase the size of his garden by 4 ft in both directions. What will be the area of his expanded garden?

ok if I'm understanding this right the area=195ft^2 and the perimeter=56ft so the length=13ft and the width=15. so if you add 4ft to each side that would be 56/16= so the new perimeter=72 so the new area=323ft^2

Thanks Ariel. I got this answer, i was making sure you added 4ft to all the sides.
