Everyone wants to be happy. No one wants pain. We all pursue happiness by doing things that are fun, and we try to avoid painful situations. The Experience machine gives people that comfort.
Everything from drugs, alcohol, TV, computer games, sports, etc. to religion tells us that our goal is to be happy. Why shouldn't we enter the Experience Machine?
