Someone please help me. I have no clue where to start.

1. My family and I went to Applebee's for dinner. The price for the meal for all of us was $73.49. How much will a 15% tip be? What will be the total amount paid including tip?

2. My insurance commission rate is 12%. A client pays their insurance in the amount of $695.00. How much commission do I receive after their payment?

1. You would need to multiply the total check by 15%.

2. Assuming your commission rate is that of the clients payment... you would do the same as the first question... multiply.

1. 73.49 x .15

2. .12 x 695
