In the case of Worcester v. Georgia, the Supreme Court decided that Native Americans had their own rights to their land, but Georgia didn't listen to the Court. Later, the Indian Removal Act was passed, which allowed the government to force Native American people to leave their homes and move to new areas. This led to many Native American groups being pushed off their land, causing them to move far away to places that were often not very good for them. This was a really sad time for many Native Americans and changed their lives forever.
