Question
Im gon create a game on gimkit where players select an aresenal of weapons fform a list and fight it out on a map until the time runs out, and the player with most knockouts win. Im thinking of adding 'seasons' that last from the start of a month to the end of a month, and adding 'events' for certain days out of the year, etc. the game is a type of io-like 2D game type called 'top-down' because its not quite from a top view like most io games. Most gimkit games are either top-down or platformers, kinda like what mario is. my game mode is gon be a top-down mode. here are some of the things id like to add
Purchasable upgrades: Upgrades players can purchase in-math that increases things such as speed, health, etc.
Modifiers - added elements that makes the game harder
Event maps - alongside with a default map, each season and event will have its own special limited edition map
Thats all i can think of RN but i might come up with more later
what are some events i could do? since this game is in gimkit, players skin's are determined by thier 'gim' (gimkit avatar) and weapons are whatever gadgets are featured in gimkit creative, the platform i use to build the games, so im really restricted to whatever 'gadgets' are provided. also, players can only jump in platformer game,s and players cannot do things such as 'roll' or such. its complicated, because its like your creating a video game inside a larger video game, because gimkit is this large educational gaming platform.
so basically, i cannot add in-game skins for players to use for avatars, because gimkit is a large gaming site, so whatever your 'gim' is during that time, it will be your avatar in my game, etc., nor can i do this for 'gadgets' which arwe basically weapons. basically, events and seasons are just times where special maps, modifiers, and such are added, and removed after the event ends.
