- My Supervisor Shinese has been a great mentor. She is leading, empathetic and she knows her stuff. She has been in the H.I.M field for 15 plus years.

- My advice for my career started classmates is to just start. Get your foot in the door somewhere. I really was lucky to land a job similar to what I was in school for, fresh out of school anyway. Now that I have a little experience that opened up more career opportunities for me.

What are some personal examples of mentorship opportunities for you to mentor someone who has potential to advance in their career?
-Some personal examples of me mentoring someone was we had a new hire and she sat with me for a couple days to discuss morning routines and how I bill and code a few of my sites. She had some experience with billing but non with coding or different insurance packages. From time to time I do still check on her and make sure that if she needs any help don’t be afraid to reach out. We are a team and we pull each other’s weight.
