The length of a rectangular field is 7 meters more than twice its width. If the perimeter is 140 meters, find the dimensions of the field.

2(x + x+7) = 140

P=2(l+w)
width=w
length=2w+7
(w)+(w)+(2w+7)+(2w+7)=140
6w+14=140
6w=140-14
6w=126
w=126/6
w=21(width)
l=2w+7
2*21=42+7=49 (length)

so
