I think you mean x^2 for the first one..
4(x^2-8x+12)
4(x-6)(x-2)

and that you mean multiply, not factor, for the second one
when you multiply the first two out, you get this
x^2-5x+4
now multiply that by (x-9) by multiplying each term by x and then by -9 and combining like terms. post if you want it checked.
