There is this one term phrase when a solider dies while serving the counrty.
Its something like. " in the line of duty." Im not quite sure what it is. Would you tell me the phrase.

A common expression is he "killed in the line of duty."

Under law, if a person in the armed forces is injured or killed in the line of duty, they are eligible for benefits. So the "line of duty" determination has money value to it.
