I have a feeling the whole expression is divided by -4x
then you have to write it like this:
(24x^4-12x^3+48x^2)/(-4x)
= -6x^3 + 3x^2 - 12x
or
= -3x(2x^2 - x + 4)
then you have to write it like this:
(24x^4-12x^3+48x^2)/(-4x)
= -6x^3 + 3x^2 - 12x
or
= -3x(2x^2 - x + 4)
