The Associative Property states that when adding (or multiplying) three or more numbers, the way in which the numbers are grouped does not change their sum (or product).
To show the Associative Property applied to the expression \((6 + 8) + 4\), you can regroup the numbers. Applying the Associative Property, you can express it as:
\[ 6 + (8 + 4) \]
This shows that instead of adding \(6 + 8\) first, you can add \(8 + 4\) first and still get the same result.
