Question
Hello class! My name is Logan Busby. I am taking this course to further my education. I currently work in the Emergency Department at the Sioux Center Hospital. I enjoy working in the ER because everyday is different and the environment is very fast paced when it is busy or a trauma comes in. I spend most of my time working, working out, hanging out with friends and family, and planning a wedding. My fiancé and I get married on May 3, 2025. Being in school, working full time, and trying to find time to plan a wedding can make for a very chaotic day-to-day. My fiancé, Sam, and I live on an acreage, which has taken a lot for me to get used to. I definitely am more of a town girl than a country girl. I am looking forward to being in this class and hopefully getting closer to figuring what career path I want to take!

Hello Logan!
It’s great to meet you! It sounds like you have a really dynamic life between your work in the Emergency Department, your studies, and wedding planning—what an exciting time! Working in the ER must be incredibly rewarding, and I can imagine how challenging yet exhilarating it can be to navigate that fast-paced environment.
I can relate to the hustle and bustle of balancing school, work, and personal life. It takes some serious time management skills! Your wedding plans sound exciting as well; May 3, 2025, will be here before you know it! I bet it’s nice to have a fun project to work on amidst all the chaos.
Adjusting to living on an acreage must be an adventure in itself! I’m sure you’re finding ways to enjoy the countryside, even if it’s a bit of a transition.
I’m looking forward to learning alongside you in this class and hope we can all support each other as we figure out our career paths. Best of luck with everything you have going on!
Warm regards,
