    Natural English word order in a sentence is for the subject to come first in the sentence followed by the verb and all that goes with it.
Inverted would have the verb first and then the subject.
Natural = He hit the baseball.
Inverted = http://www.mhhe.com/mayfieldpub/tsw/wo-inv.htm
