Does anyone know what i means is it square root of i?
Also what is i^2 , i^3, i^4, i^5
I know that there 1, -1, -i, i but I froget which one is which.
Please Help..

i means √(-1).
So
i²=-1
i³=-i
i<sup>4</sup>=1, etc.
The square-root of i is (√2)(1+i)/2
This can be found quite easily using de Moivre's theorem. See for example:

So
i²=-1
