When researching for a big or complicated project, it is sometimes difficult to find source information for a piece of important research. What would you do in this situation to ensure that you do not commit plagiarism? Answer in a 4 sentence answer in a 7th graders response.

If I can’t find good sources for my research, I would first ask my teacher or librarian for help to find reliable information. Then, I would make sure to take notes on where I found each piece of information so I can give credit to the original authors later. If I still can’t find what I need, I might try to use my own ideas or summarize what I’ve learned in my own words. This way, I’m being honest and not copying anyone else’s work!
