Question

How many states border oceans? My answer is 15. I didn't include the states like Texas that borders the Gulf of Mexico and Connecticut as it borders the Long Island Sound...is this correct?

I count 18. Here's my list:
Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, California, Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
