Question 1

I believe I am stronger in creativity, as I have always enjoyed expressing ideas visually and exploring innovative concepts. I would rate my skills as 75% creative and 25% business savvy. While I have some understanding of marketing principles, my true passion lies in the creative process of design.

Question 2

The most exciting job within the graphic design world for me would be a branding designer. I find it fascinating to create a visual identity that embodies a company's values and resonates with its audience. The challenge of developing a consistent brand image across various platforms and materials excites me, as it combines strategic thinking with creativity.

Question 3

I was surprised to learn that website design was one of the most profitable projects compared to social media posts. I think website design commands higher fees because it requires comprehensive planning, technical skills, and a deep understanding of user experience, which ultimately leads to lasting results for clients. In contrast, social media posts are often short-lived and might be viewed as less complex, resulting in lower payment.

Question 4

I believe AI will have a mixed impact on the job landscape for graphic designers. On the positive side, AI tools can streamline certain tasks, automate repetitive processes, and provide valuable data analytics, allowing designers to focus more on creativity and innovation. However, there are also negative implications, such as the potential for job displacement as companies may rely more on AI-generated designs. This shift could reduce opportunities for entry-level designers and impact the overall demand for human creativity in the field. Balancing these factors will be crucial for the future of graphic design.
