"I believe I am ready for the challenges that the ACT poses however I do think I will have trouble with the anxiety it gives me and certain subjects. I expect math and science to give me the most trouble. Math because I have never been that good at it and it's hard for me to remember how certain things work. Science because I tend to overlook and overthink things and it takes me a long time to answer questions individually.
My strengths in the exam are reading as I scored very well in the practice exam and I am good at understanding text and possibly English depending on the amount of stress I feel during it as it’s always been a hard subject for me. I believe I am weak in science and math because of the way I overthink and get stressed about something if I can't figure it out quickly. To give myself the chance for the best result I plan to get plenty of sleep, a nice meal, and think about the test as little as possible to try and be the least stressed I can be.
I do feel like I need more preparation time for the exam but I will always feel that way as I don't tend to feel ready about anything I do. I think I need more prep time in all areas as you can always be better but more specifically in math because I am not good at remembering formulas or ways to solve certain math problems."
