I am looking at the material in the text over and over and cannot understand this!........help,how do I figure this out?

Two procedures:
1. You know that 1 mole of any gas (an ideal gas) occupies 22.4 L at STP; therefore, 22.4 L x 0.5/1 = ?? OR
2. Use PV = nRT
P is 1 atm, V is the unknown, n = 0.5, you know R and T is 273.
The answer should be the same for both methods.
