First of all there is no equation at the beginning, how did it suddenly turn into one in the third line?
somebody else posted a very similar question, but it said
solve 6x^2 - 13x - 28 = 0
If that is your question also, then ...
it factors to
(2x-7)(3x+4) = 0
x = 7 or x = -4/3
6^2-13x-28
36-13x-28
-13x=-36-28
x=8/13
could you check this problem it had to be done and turn in tonight.

Then it cannot possible say or expect you to "solve" it
You can only solve equations, which means that they must contain an "=" sign.
You do not have an equation!!!!
So all you can do is factor it, which I did for you
