i need help to find out 7 1/3 (seven and one third) is in a decimal?

please help me.

first change it to a mixed number, then divide the mixed number as you would a fraction. keep dividing until you reach at least 1 or 2 numbers after the decimal point.

so 3*7=23+1=24 24 over3 = 8?

1/3 = 0.33333

7 1/3 = 7.33333
