We want the force in the direction of motion
F = 15 cos 30
then work = force times the distance the force acts
= 50 * 15 cos 3
in foot pounds
F = 15 cos 30
then work = force times the distance the force acts
= 50 * 15 cos 3
in foot pounds

a 20 kg wagon is pulled along the level ground by a rope inclined at 30 degrees above the horizontal. A friction force of 30 N opposes the motion. How large is the pulling force if the wagon is moving with a constant speed?
