Brunhilda will observe that gas bubbles will be present only during the day. This is because during the day, plants perform photosynthesis, which produces oxygen as a byproduct. At night, in the absence of light, photosynthesis does not occur, and plants primarily undergo respiration, which consumes oxygen without producing it, so no gas bubbles would be observed at night.
