Describe an example from everyday life that demonstrates capillary action.

Capillary action is what happens when water moves up a thin tube, like when you put a straw in a glass of water and the water rises inside the straw. You can also see it when a paper towel soaks up juice or water because the tiny spaces in the towel pull the liquid up!
