                Help-I'm really confused- If you have an equation where H is positive + OH negative and reaction arrows go both ways-with H2O as product, what type of reaction is this and why- either neutralization,hydrolysis,decomposition or esterification

    Since H^+ is an acid and OH^- is a base, I would think we were neutralizing an acid with a base. Wouldn't you think that, too.
