1)A compressed high resolution chest xray image requires about 8MB of data. most GP surgeries are connected to the NHS network at a speed of 2Mbps. how long would it take to download a set of 6 images. give your answer to second to 2 decimal places.
2)as a part of pilot project some surgeries at distance have connection at 100 Mbps. how long would it take one of these surgeries to download the same image.

8MB/image * 6 images = 48 MB total

48 MB * (1 second/2 MB) = 24 seconds

In part 2 the transmission is 100/2 or 50 times as fast
