well i am in the 3rd grade and i am going to take a test called TCAP the problem is is that i don't know anything about it and my questions are
-what is it's purpose
-what if i fail would they put it in my file
-what do they do if i pass it

If you've been paying attention in school and doing your homework, you'll do fine on this test.

The results of these tests do go into your permanent records -- along with your report card grades and attendance records.

Don't worry about the test. Just get a good night's sleep before and do your best.

No, I'm not from Tennessee. (I looked up Tcap on Google.) However all states have tests they give students. These tests try to find out what the students know and how they've progressed for the year.
