In a world where dreams take flight,
I linger in the soft twilight.
With whispers of the future near,
A shiver dances, full of fear.

The toys I loved now gather dust,
As time transforms my playful trust.
The grown-up talks of bills and more,
While I just wish for days of yore.

The weight of choices, paths to tread,
A heart that aches for what’s ahead.
Will I be lost in the great unknown,
Or find my way, a place called home?

Yet in the dark, a spark might glow,
For every end can help us grow.
So as I stand on this new brink,
I’ll take a breath, and learn to think.

With trembling hands, I’ll face the sky,
Embracing change, I’ll learn to fly.
For growing up, though filled with dread,
Can lead to dreams, not tears unshed.
