How will you commit to know what you're doing?
Homework has a purpose: It allows you to practice what you have learned at school. The more you practice, the better you will get at what you're trying to learn. Homework takes time, practice and motivation.

Completing your homework and practicing the skills you have learned in class will help you get good grades, develop good habits, and learn time management skills.

Here are some tips to keep in mind when you do your homework:

Know what you're doing
If you are not clear on the expectations for your homework, check with your teacher right away. Walk out of your classroom with a clear knowledge of what your teacher expects.

Schedule homework in your day
Schedule an hour or two into your day. Maybe you'll do homework during your study hall and as soon as you get home from school. Or you can schedule time right after dinner. Keeping your day open for homework will help you avoid any conflicts.

Be prepared
Have a dedicated place to do your homework. Be prepared with everything you need - a computer, paper, pencils, a calculator, or anything else that you use on a daily basis. Being prepared lets you save time trying to find materials when you need them.

Avoid distractions
Turn off the TV, leave your phone in a different room, and turn off your social media websites. When you are doing your homework, make it your only focus!

I will set aside an hour after school to tackle my homework, ensuring I stay focused and organized. Additionally, I'll block out time after dinner to review and complete any remaining assignments.
