I have to pick a topic and list argument and counter-argument for a research paper (com 220 class). I would like to write about the death penalty, I just need help chosing a pro and con to write about. I believe I need more detail than just saying my topic will be the pro's and con's of the death penalty.

Please research this topic. You'll find many many arguments both for and against the death penalty.

Make an outline as you read these facts and opinions. Then you'll be in a better position to list the arguments and write your paper.
