the indian subcontinent has a lot of important geographic features it has the himalayas which are huge mountains and they are really tall and they have snow the ganges river is also there it is super important for people and it goes all the way to the bay of bengal there are also plateaus like the deccan plateau which is really big and flat plus there are deserts like the thar desert which is super dry
the climate is very varied it has tropical areas in the south where it is hot and humid there are also dry areas in the west during the summer it can get really hot in many places then during the monsoon season it rains a lot especially in the northeast where it can flood some areas get less rain and stay dry overall the indian subcontinent has a mix of climates and weather patterns
