The area of a decagon is 600 ft2. If the dimensions are reduced by a factor of 4, what is the area of the smaller decagon?

The new area is 600/16


There are many was to compute area of regular polgyons, but the easiest is

Area= 1/2 apotherm * perimeter

In this case apotherm and perimeter both have 1/4 terms.
