Since women were not allowed to fight, what did a few of the Daughters of Liberty do so they could actually fight against the British?

A few of the Daughters of Liberty dressed up as men so that they could fight against the British. While the majority of women during the American Revolutionary War supported the cause through non-combat roles, some took the bold step of disguising themselves to partake in the fighting directly.
