I know the first term is 2 but the sqrt 3 threw me off so I do not know how to find the next numbers.

2) Find the nth term of the geometric sequence.

a2 = 3 a5 = 3/64 n=1

I know the formula is a1^r n-1 but I do not know how to find a1.

1) a1 = 2

a2 = 2 sqrt3
a3 = 2sqrt3*sqrt3 = 6
a4 = 6*sqrt3
a5 = 6 sqrt3*sqrt2 = 18

2) an = 3*4/4^(n-1)
a1 = 3*4/4^0 = 12
a2 = 3
a3 = 3/4
a4 = 3/16
a5 = 3/64
