2y+10x=-78

Please help i don't know how to solve this System of Equations

y=5x+5.......(1)
2y+10x=-78 ..(2)

From (1), substitute the value of y into (2) to get:
2(5x+5)+10x=-78
Expand and isolate the variable x:
10x+10+10x=-78
10x+10x+10-10=-78-10
20x=-88
x=-4.4
Now substitute the value into (1) to solve for y:
y=5(-4.4)+5
y=-22+5
y=-17

Check:
y=5x+5=5(-4.4)+5=-17
2y+10x=2(-17)+10(-4.4)=-34-44=-78
