I am lost on solving this problem
3x+8=8x-5x+10
I know the next step is
3x+8=3x+10
I am lost after that

Take away 8 and 3x=3x+2. Take away 3x and 0x= 0x+ 2 Take anything times zero and you get zero back, so 0=0+2

Zero does not equal 2, so there is no way to do this. 0x=2 Division by zero is undefined.
